Our story
Massage Number 1
My name is Fang. I come from China, where massage is not a luxury but part of everyday life — you learn it from your parents and you keep using it your whole life. I brought that tradition with me when I came to the Netherlands.
In 1995 I opened our first Chinese massage salon on the Geldersekade. We were among the first Chinese salons in Amsterdam, and that is where our name comes from. Together with my partner Hamid we found our permanent home at Singel 240 in February 2010. In 2025 a second salon followed in Amsterdam West, on Bilderdijkstraat 195.
In more than thirty years we have treated thousands of people, and one thing has never changed: everyone walks in with something different. One with shoulders locked up from desk work, another simply to spend an hour thinking about nothing. That is why we always ask where it sits before we start.
Our therapists trained in China and work from Tui Na: pushing, kneading and pressing on fixed points. No fixed routine we run through, but looking at what someone needs that day. That is why people still come back after thirty years.
