Our story
Massage Number 1
My name is Fang. I am originally from China and opened our first Chinese massage salon on the Geldersekade in Amsterdam in 1995. We were among the first Chinese massage salons in the city, which is why we proudly chose the name Massage Number 1.
Together with my partner Hamid we moved a few times after that, until we found our permanent home at Singel 240 in February 2010. That became our base, and the base for many clients who have kept finding their way to us over the years.
Our love for the craft has only grown stronger. That is why we opened a second salon in Amsterdam West in 2025, on Bilderdijkstraat 195.
From one small salon on the Geldersekade in 1995 to two locations in Amsterdam: Massage Number 1 is built on experience, dedication and the trust of our clients. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us all these years.
